eGetinnz wants to break that misconception by allowing you to have a variety of choices for your accommodation. We pride ourselves in being competitive by having thousands of properties to choose from and allowing you to select your property of choice.


How do I search for places?

To find out what choices you have on eGetinnz, you need to simply use the search bar to enter your desired destination, travel dates and guest number. We offer user-friendly tools that help you pick out places catering to your special needs and taste with only a few clicks. For example, if you need more privacy, you can use the search filters to narrow your results to private room or entire house/apt. Furthermore, you can rearrange the results by popularity, rating or price. To help you make best decisions, we try to display listings as informative as possible with photos, amenities, host profiles and reviews.

It's best that you opt to Contact Host for any additional information you need before you Request to Book the place.

How do I contact the host?

You can find the Contact Host button on the listing page to send a message to the corresponding host. For your safety and privacy, please do not reveal your contact information to the host before your booking is accepted.

How do I make a reservation?

Before making a reservation, make sure you have:

  • Read the listing details carefully.
    Listing pages include photos, description, amenities and everything hosts want you to know. Please read through the page to make sure the place has enough rooms for your family or it is near the beach you plan to go to.
  • Understood house rules set by the host.
    Pay attention to these rules since not every host allows pets or smoking.
  • Check the host's profile.
    You want to know more about your host before choosing to stay at their place.
  • Read the reviews left by former guests.
    Their experience and stories with the listing may help you make your decision whether to stay there or not.
  • Contact the host.
    Listings as detailed or described may still lack the particular information you need. Please feel free to contact the host for any additional information before requesting a reservation.

After all the above steps, it's time to secure the place.

  1. On the listing page, select your check-in and check-out date and number of guests.
  2. Click Request to Book.
  3. Confirm your booking details.

Your host is required to respond to your request (accept or decline) within 24 hours or your request will automatically expire. You will receive an email or message regarding the reservation result.

How do I pay for my reservation?

After you click Request a Booking, all costs (including nightly fee, cleaning fee, service fee and tax fee if applicable) and the total price will be shown to you for confirmation. After you submit a request, your payment information will be collected to hold your reservation. You will be charged the entire amount you confirm when you submit your request with your selected payment method once the host accepts your request.

What is a wish list?

A wish list is a folder for you to save your favorite listings for present or future booking. You can save a listing by clicking Save to Your Wish List and check and manage your wish list by going to Wish Lists under the Guest menu.

How do I cancel a booking request?

You can cancel your booking request before the host accepts it. When you cancel a booking request, you will be fully refunded with all costs in connection with this booking request including service fee.

To cancel a booking request, please go to Guest - Bookings - Booking Requests and follow the steps.

You will not be able to cancel a booking request if your host has accepted such request. If you still wish to cancel your request after the host's acceptance, then you will cancel a confirmed booking. Please refer to how do I cancel a reservation.

How do I cancel a reservation?

If you need to cancel a reservation;

  1. Find Bookings on the drop-down menu under Guest
  2. Click confirmed booking
  3. Find the booking you need to cancel and use the Cancel button to cancel it

Canceling a reservation will cause inconvenience to the host, thus the first night's accommodation fee will be paid to the host if you initiate a cancellation. Lodging fee for other nights except the first night including cleaning fee and taxes if applicable will be refunded to you. Service fee is not refundable.

You are not able to cancel any unused days on your check-in day or after you check in.

What happens if my host cancels my reservation?

We have a strict policy regarding hosts cancelling reservations since we understand that cancellations would bring you inconvenience. We suggest hosts not cancel a reservation unless it is really necessary.

Once your reservation is cancelled by your host, you will receive a prompt system message from eGetinnz informing you of the cancellation and all costs related to this reservation will be fully refunded to you.
