The place is great, the rooms are new and clean, just bring lots of food because there is no nearby food store or restaurant. It is not advisable to go out at night since there is no transportation available in the place except for your private vehicle you have to get into the place
Dustin was one of the most knowledgeable and engaging tour guides I've ever met. His expertise on Philippine history is unparalleled, and he's a natural storyteller who was able to create an enlightening narrative for both foreigners and Filipinos to appreciate local culture more. I left the tour with a fresh perspective on Philippine history, and I would definitely book a tour again in a heartbeat!
Dustin's tour was informative and was surely eye-opening. He was very knowledgeable of not just facts but he contextualized for us many details. There were 8 of us on the visit and he was able to keep all of our attention throughout. He engaged my three young children ages 12, 11, and 6 and made it fun for them. The pace of the tour was just right.
We booked the 3GX tour (Intramuros) on a Sunday afternoon and we couldn't have picked a better time. We had very little expectation coming into the tour, but ended up with so much more. Dustin's narratives brought so much color that we got to imagine what life was back then. You get to learn a lot about Intramuros and a bit of the Filipino culture that you normally don't hear from school lectures. It was definitely a great experience and a must whenever you have a chance to visit the walled city.

great laid back nature space to reflect in privacy
The forest feel of Kai Lodge with 2 pool sites and homey bahay kubos made such a great rest house ambience. Also it's proximity to refugee built Indo Chinese temples make it such a unique microcosm of Vietnam Laos and Cambodia. In 30 mins you can be in Subic or the beaches of Morong. Downside are the room appointments. Nothing luxurious, basic, but clean and comfortable. However the excellent home quality of the food and the superb attentiveness of the staff make each stay such a home-away-from-home experience. My kids loved the place, perfect for a very private retreat for yourselved and your loved ones.
