Our travels took us down the Blue Ridge from Banner Elk and hiking several trails along the way. Sweet Biscuit Inn was the last night of our adventure and what a delight. It included a short business venture to West Asheville and they graciously allowed us a late check out. The breakfast was first class, the accommodations were truly pleasurable, and Christian was helpful in every conceivable way to make our stay hospitable. I highly recommend this as a B and B destination.
This was my second stay in this lovely inn. The hosts are congenial; the inn is lovely and the food is delicious. Really the best breakfast I have ever had at an inn of any sort, and I have stayed in many. Claudia is a fantastic chef and and very willing to work around food allergies and preferences. Highly recommended!
Our spacious and charming room at the Sweet Biscuit in was comfortable and relaxing. We appreciated the convenient location and beautiful gardens surrounding the historic home. We enjoyed the delicious gourmet breakfasts and elegantly appointed dinning room. A special treat included on the lovely porch visiting with our guests. Claudia and Christian were gracious and helpful hosts.
Oh my goodness, I can't brag on this place enough. Christian and Claudia are such kind, gracious, and warm hosts. Breakfast is completely outstanding (3 gourmet courses hand made in house) and well worth waking up for in the morning. The Inn itself is very charming and tranquil; very stylishly decorated but true to its historic nature. Such a lovely place to stay and located among beautiful historic homes. The reading nook and coffee station upstairs is a great retreat. My husband and I stayed in their smallest room which was perfect for us; we loved the claw foot bathtub and opening the window to let the breeze in. It's so quiet and a nice escape after a busy day in downtown Asheville which is only 10 minutes down the road. We will definitely be staying here again!…
