This became our home base for our Potipot Island getaway. Stayed here for 3d/2n and we went to Potipot Island on the 2nd day. The resort has its own boat to ferry guests to and from the island. The boat is bigger than the usual outrigger boats I've ridden that's why I wasn't worried about the safety of my family. We stayed at the Premium Bahay Kubo which is big enough for a family of 4. It comes with a ref, cable TV, hot shower. No Toiletries and towels were provided. The resort has no restaurant. But you can ask Nanay to cook something for you. Which is what we did coz we got no time for cooking but there's a common kitchen for those who would want to cook their own food. Will I be coming? Definitely yes.
What i really appreciated here was the beach It may look dirty because of the sand but It was clean, The sand were smooth and has no stones, It was a beachfront resort which is way cheaper than the other I saw online, the staffs are always willing to help, the rooms were spacious with bathroom in each room the place is clean and well maintained, you'll love the windy ambiance since there's a lot of trees around the resort, Cons are: I think they're the farthest resort in zambales make sure you brought your personal stuff and things you need with you since their store was quite overpriced, you have to pay for the hot water for your coffee which is 5pesos if you do not have a thermos with you (ugh) Paluto ranges from 200 and up depending on the kilos and If you already have the ingredients but you have no time to cook or you lack out of butane, Make sure you go early at the market if you forgot something to buy since the market closes as early as 7pm, and it is not really safe to drive in the evening since it was really dark there are few streetlights but not enough to cover the whole street. But all in all, the resort was really nice and there are lot of grilling areas and sink to wash on.
Went here last April 29 with my college friends. So let me give the pros and the rooms for improvements (I dont want to say cons, as it is a beautiful place to stay with) of this place. Pros: •Neat, Tidy and beautiful rooms •Resort personnels are courteous and welcoming on any questions/request •Reasonable price for the rooms •Flexible on any arrangements •Have wide parking space •Have grilling and cooking spaces free of use for everyone. Rooms for improvement: •There should be specific menus of foods per meal •The food prices are way high (e.g. 2 longganisa + 1 egg + unlimited rice costs 120) •There should be fans outside the rooms (not sure if it is just weather on our stay but it is hot) •No banana boats, jet ski etc. which should attract more tourists. •No swimming pool unlike other nearby resorts •Not all benches have lighting •No souvenir shop Overall, if I will be going back to Potipot Island, I will still stay in PDM. This place is good for barkada getaways even family friendly (as most of the people staying on our time of stay are family bakasyonistas). PS. The Lola who is cooking food is very generous and kind, you'll love her. :)
Went to Puerto del Mar resort last May 16, 2015 with my friends for a quick weekend getaway. Since it's summer and it's payday weekend, I was expecting to see a crowded and rowdy resort. But to my surprise, it was a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for relaxation and bonding time with family and good friends. We rented their mango room which has airconditioning unit, own CR and basic amenities. The kind that we would need for an overnight trip. What I like about the resort is that it is well-maintained and it's also beach front with a great sunset view. They also have friendly and helpful staff. Even the 'bangkeros' are all courteous (though they were few minutes late in picking us up from Potipot). They also have personalized customer service, which I admire the most. They know their clients by their first names. They also called us to help with the directions and to make sure that we wont get lost in coming to the resort. Then they sent us a thank you sms after we left. It's simple gestures like these that will make us love and recommend this resort. And with that, we will definitely consider going back to this resort again in the future. :)

Great location, room and food, except for the videoke noise
we stayed here end of April 2017. there were 3 of us friends. i love the location as 'twas just a 5-minute boat ride to the lovely Potipot island. The resort has its own boat where we just paid P400 per round trip. i liked the food cooked as requested, staff are nice also. only that there was a videoke noise at night that hampered our restful sleep. :) https://www.tripadvisor.com.ph/ShowUserReviews-g1420461-d2555442-r493198574-Puerto_Del_Mar_Beach_Resort-Candelaria_Zambales_Province_Central_Luzon_Region_L.html#
