We spent a few nights here in a spacious double room with kitchenette (including a fridge and microwave), a balcony overlooking the lake and a bathroom with a bath (a real bonus). Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice including freshly cooked eggs and a variety of fresh fruits, breads and pastries. Although it is only about a 5 minute walk to Sukhumvit Road the air conditioned mini bus service was most welcome. We also received complimentary bottles of water on each day of our stay.
We booked a suite for our weekend stay at this supposedly 4 star rated hotel, imagine our surprise when we arrived and it was first of all situated really inconveniently on a backstreet which was sketchy during night time. Sure, the hotel had bus transportation to the main road from the hotel... and the "breathe clean air" tagline with all non smoking rooms was pretty flat given that at ALL times there was a diesel bug spewing out exhaust fumes in the lobby.
We spent two nights in Bangkok with our two children 5 and 7, we had a family suite which was a really big size with two ensuite bathrooms, washing machine microwave etc. Really friendly staff, really nice buffet breakfast included in the price.
It is really hard to find hotels in Bangkok for 7 people. There are no hotels that have two queens in one room. Most hotels have one double bed per room, some rooms have two twins, and sometimes you could find three twin beds in one room We took our big family on a once in a life time trip to Thailand and finding a hotel that could house all of us was really hard. I was really excited to find the Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 had a family suite with three bedrooms and two baths.
